A Disney setting for ARA’s annual event

ARA ConventionThe Automotive Recyclers Association’s (ARA) 75th annual convention and exposition takes place between October 31st and November 3rd, 2018 at the Walt Disney World Dolphin Resort in Orlando, Florida.

With speakers and over 30 educational sessions, including new peer-to-peer business process sessions, to allow visitors to gain knowledge and insight to apply to their business’. The popular “Tackling the Tough Issues” recyclers roundtable will be returning where the entire membership gathers together to discuss current industry issues, trends, share experiences and determine direction for the future. Other sessions include new features from yard management systems; how to build a better interchange; how to remove friction between recyclers and repairers, and more. A limited number of extended educational sessions offering business coaching from industry leaders in a small group format will also be available.

A special feature this year, sponsored by Hollander, is Disney Institute. Disney Institute uses business insights and time tested examples from Disney parks and resorts worldwide to inspire individuals and organisations to enhance their own customer experience using Disney principles as their guide. This is an exclusive opportunity available ONLY to Disney property guests. This powerful learning experience is not about becoming Disney, but rather learning to think how this world-recognised organisation thinks and adapting those principles to your own business – FINDING YOUR MAGIC!

ARA’s Exposition features the largest assortment of automotive recycling vendors under one roof. Numerous networking events throughout the week are provided with opportunities to gain insights and share information with colleagues.
