From the chart, Copart UK Ltd are at the top and since the US company entered the market in 2007 their market share continues to grow.

After Motorhog acquired FAB Recycling back in November 2017, their position has moved up from 3rd to 2nd compared to last year’s figures.

HBC is in 4th position on the chart. US Company KAR Auction Services purchased HBC in 2015. The following year KAR Auction Services acquired GRS Remarketing Ltd from the Greenhouse Group Ltd which was renamed Adesa UK. In 2018 HBC added a further three new sites in the UK making 14 sites in total.

With the top 25 dismantlers showing a healthy growth it is hoped that this is reflective throughout the industry and smaller operations are also seeing increasing returns.
