e2e Total Loss Vehicle Management [e2e], the UK’s largest collective of progressive salvage and recycling agents, has had its head office in Darlington redesigned to create a modern, collaborative working environment. The redesign formed part of a full refurbishment to reflect the company’s new brand.
Teamwork and partnership lays at the heart of e2e’s success and the new office layout is entirely open plan, with glass screens used to create meeting room spaces and break out areas. e2e management, including at director level, work side by side with the head office team. New furniture throughout, which includes acoustic panels dividing desk clusters, gives a sense of individual space within a communal environment.
Neil Joslin, Chief Operating Officer explains:
“Just as our members gain strength from the power of the e2e collective, our head office team gains impetus and support from working together seamlessly. As well as the vibrancy created by the new brand colours, staff have been delighted by the transformation of their breakout area; a new kitchen together with a mixture of banquet, lounge and dining seating makes the enlarged space flexible, fresh and inviting.
Joslin concludes:
“The new look and feel reflects the vibrancy of the business and our aim to redefine the market’s understanding of a salvage partner. Our staff go ‘above and beyond’ on a daily basis and I’m delighted that they are so proud of their new working environment. We regularly canvass our people for their opinion on business activities, management, culture, their roles and job satisfaction and the latest staff survey saw engagement and satisfaction at their highest ever levels.”
