The Waste Industry Safety and Health (WISH) Forum – Taking it to the next level – WISH conference 2020

Chair of WISH, Chris Jones said:
“Over the past decade, the waste and recycling industry’s health and safety performance has improved, and I hope that the support WISH has provided through its guidance, information, research, seminars and conferences, action days and similar have helped in this.
However, in more recent times there have been signs of a levelling of performance and still more needs to be done across the industry to take us to the next level. We need to become not just good for waste management but as good or better than our peers in other industries such as the manufacturing sector. WISH needs your commitment and support to help our industry achieve this.
What areas should WISH concentrate on, what are the up-and-coming health and safety issues for our industry, how can WISH support the industry best? The aim of the WISH strategy conference is to celebrate recent successes and to address these questions.”
Places are limited and the conference will be by invite. To register your interest in attending please send an e-mail to info@wishforum.org.uk stating your name, the organisation you work for and your job title. Further details will be released before the event.
