Following our years of rapid growth and development, Chairman Steve Jackson and Chief Executive William Fletcher have chosen to hand over the reins to a new management team and step down. Mr Jackson is succeeded by Executive Chairman Andrew Hodgson [pictured, left], who will be responsible for the daily activities of the group. Andrew has led businesses across the aerospace, manufacturing and energy sectors, earning three Queen’s Award for Industry. Gerry Marshall [pictured, right], who has a wealth of international and domestic experience leading businesses across multiple industries and markets, has taken on the Chief Operating Officer position.

Mr Jackson said:

“I have had the pleasure of working with an incredible team, whose loyalty and hard work helped me to realise my dream of creating a truly ‘good’ business – one which put people first while also being disruptive, market-leading and profitable.

I started with a belief that prioritising social value over financial value would be a recipe for success and this has been proven. I look forward to seeing where the business goes next.”

Mr Hodgson added:

“It is a real privilege to join Recycling Lives. Steve set out with a unique vision, to create a business model that delivers both commercially and charitably, and he has made that a reality. I will now work to continue to deliver on his dream.”

Mr Hodgson and Mr Marshall join co-founder Danny Jackson and Chief Financial Officer Chris Chambers to make up the Board of the business.

The new top team will continue to work closely with Recycling Lives Charity, which shares its name and social values with the business.

Turning into a circular business and the importance of vehicle reuse and recycling.

The presentation will cover the work Volvo Cars is doing to achieve 2025 but mainly focus on the transformational work towards 2040 and the business and value chain changes being considered.
