Copart Automotive – Delivering Rapid Remarketing & Disposal Routes p two
Matthew Boswell

Copart’s Automotive Regional teams are focused on delivering remarketing services for those customers who have vehicles that are geographically spread, and often have some element of complexity or are considered problematic vehicles.

These vehicles come to us at Copart Automotive via a huge range of businesses, from small rental and retailers, through to fleets and finance companies, including leasing, repossessions, regional traders and lenders.

Often these customers have a number of locations or sites, or their vehicles are located in geographical clusters, meaning they have a need for localised support.

The teams are split between customer zones to provide that local support, whilst giving access to a UK wide collection service and global auction.

It means our customers can be assured that their vehicles, no matter what the condition or situation, can be collected, processed and placed into auction in a matter of days, all the while knowing they are in safe hands with their local Copart Automotive Account Manager.

In short this means our customers benefit from having a dedicated individual who understands their localised business challenges and is able to provide specific advice and guidance to ensure maximum returns on their vehicles.

Working alongside our account management team is a team of business development professionals who seek new customers, and make sure each new customer benefits from a thorough onboarding process, supporting them with unique online tools that give them a frictionless customer experience.

Tools such as our online Seller portal which enables customers to rapidly assign new vehicles for sale and track their progress through to sale, all in real-time.

As Head of Regional Automotive Accounts, Matthew brings a wealth of senior experience working with well-known brands across the UK automotive sector, including Inchcape Fleet Solutions and Arval. He is responsible for helping our regional customers by leading the development and delivery of our tailored products and services for customers, designed to provide solutions to the specific challenges each customer faces when selling their vehicles.

Matthew is best placed to highlight how his team helps our customers:

We understand the need to deliver excellence for our customers, both in terms of financial returns and level of service. I am delighted that we have in place an exceptional Account Management team to deliver on our customers’ requirements combined with an expert Business Development team who are actively seeking out new business partners whom we can help maximise the remarketing potential of their vehicles. The customer is very much at the centre of our offering and strong relationships are the foundation of what we do.

We are in a hugely exciting period of growth within regional sales. Copart continues to lead the digital solution within vehicle remarketing, further evidenced with the imminent expansion of our offering which will see the launch of our Go-App product into the UK marketplace. This is another fantastic technical advancement which will offer our customers great flexibility and the opportunity to further enjoy our services.

Mark Godfrey, Director Automotive Division adds:

“Our recent change to align our Customer teams more tightly to regions has meant we have been able to give even closer support to our customers. Matthew’s teams build long term, local relationships, but offer our customers the ability to have UK wide services and of course sell to a global marketplace through our unique ‘live lane’ auctions.

This approach mirrors our global approach where we have country-specific Copart companies serving their local markets, on the ground in the customers’ country of origin, but collectively benefiting from the Copart global auctions and technologies.”

With major finance, retail and fleet customers already leveraging Copart Automotive services alongside the already impressive array of Insurance customers selling through Copart, Copart Automotive is unparalleled in the marketplace it can offer to the Fleet, Finance, Rental and Retail automotive sectors.
