BMRA issues 'continue to trade' advisory after police challenge metal recyclers during lockdown feat

BMRA CEO James Kelly has issued an advisory letter for members and employees to show if they are stopped.

To assist their members, an updated advisory letter has been issued from BMRA CEO, James Kelly for members to show to police officers should they or their employees be stopped. The document can also be used by employees to explain to neighbours why they are continuing to go to work and why the work that they do is important to keep the UK economy going.

The British Metals Recycling Association (BMRA) suggests that employees carry additional copies of the letter, which they can offer to leave with anyone that stops them.
