Faster stock sourcing with new CD Salvage app

CD Salvage has invested in new technology to make sourcing stock as easy as ordering an Uber. The new app allows buyers to search its full range of stock and buy at the push of a button.

Vehicles on the app are fully imaged in high definition and come with complete descriptions. Users of the app can search by location and can choose to receive alerts on cars they’ve bid on before the end of the sale. A buying and bid history can be viewed at any time to provide valuable management information.

Commenting on the launch Julie Carter, operations manager of CD Salvage, said:

“We are building an eco-system that will help our customers to source stock easier and faster than ever before, from wherever they are and whenever they want. The new app has some industry-leading features that will allow buyers to make a purchase within an auction or use a buy-it-now function.”

The move follows the launch of Salvage Remarketplace, a platform that enables buyers to list their own stock and trade with each other.

Salvage Remarketplace enables vehicles to be imaged by sellers at any location, which speeds up the process and reduces the number of vehicle moves to save time, cost and benefit the environment.

The buyer is responsible for the collection of the vehicle. CD Salvage has launched a new service that enables users to manage all their transport moves and administration on one app-driven platform.

The terms and conditions give buyers, and sellers peace of mind and a full audit process is available on every vehicle. A dedicated CD Salvage team member verifies each vehicle’s data to ensure the images match the description.

In the first quarter of the year, CD Salvage moved to sales five days a week to meet demand. The sales cover both cars and vans as both markets have seen strong bidding and values.
