Copart teammates proudly put on their pyjamas this month to support the Ben Automotive Charity’s ‘Big Breakfast’ fundraising event as part of their ongoing Copart Cares CSR commitment to caring for good causes, teammates, and communities.

This brand-new fundraising event for Ben, a charity that provides health and wellbeing support to people who work (or have worked) in the automotive industry, took place across one week in October, ending on World Mental Health Day, 10th October.

The aim of the event was to host a breakfast any day during that week and bring, bake, make, and sell breakfast to raise money to support Ben’s work in our industry.

Copart Proudly Puts on Pyjamas for Ben Automotive Charity p twoCopart is a long-term supporter of Ben, having adopted them as their company charity in 2015. Copart has held various fundraising events on their behalf across their 19 UK locations, and earlier this year, they raised £5,000 with a 3 Peaks Challenge event.

Copart was keen to support this new fundraising event, and it didn’t take much to encourage teammates to connect with each other over a cuppa and a range of breakfast treats!

Throughout the week, Big Breakfasts were held across their nationwide locations and raised funds through the sale of breakfast treats, games, and wearing PJs for the day.

Jane Pocock – Managing Director of Copart UK & Ireland, said:

“We are very fortunate to have access to Ben’s wide range of health and wellbeing support services, so we always enjoy the opportunity to give something back. We have an amazing culture here at Copart for charitable giving, and our teammates always show a great deal of passion and enthusiasm when it comes to fundraising for good causes.

I’m delighted with the effort our teams across the UK put into the Ben’s Big Breakfast events. Everyone had a lot of fun and together they raised a fantastic amount of money for Ben, which will help them to provide even more support services to the automotive community.”
