Birmingham is often referred to as the ‘workshop of the world’, and at one time considered the greatest industrial city in the world, this West Midlands hotspot is particularly famous for manufacturing, and the area boasts Britain’s first-ever car factory. Having been home to car brands like Peugeot, Triumph, Jaguar and Land Rover, it’s clear that the people of Birmingham know and love their cars.

The ten most scrapped Car make and models in Birmingham
The most scrapped car brand in Birmingham over the last year was Vauxhall, which made up 16% of all the vehicles they helped to process in the area. Nearly a third of these were Corsas, with the Astra also featuring highly. In second place was Ford cars, primarily Focuses and Fiestas, followed by Peugeot, especially the 206, 207 and 308 models.
