Copart Launches Leadership Development Programme to 100+ Managers p

Throughout the year, all people managers at Copart will attend a bespoke 3-day course developed internally by the business, which focuses on areas including communication skills, coaching, and relationship building.

This structured development programme not only offers over 100 new and existing managers at all levels with a fantastic personal development opportunity, but it will also help Copart to provide a consistent leadership style across its 19 UK locations.

Copart is passionate about being seen as an employer of choice and is proud of the ongoing investment it makes into nurturing talent, training and development, and rewards and benefits.

With employee voice being an important aspect of the Copart Cares commitment while developing this Leadership Development Programme, the company listened to feedback from its teammates and included areas of training which will help increase engagement and retention.

Holly Rose, Learning & Development Manager at Copart, said:

“Providing people managers with the skills and knowledge they need to manage their teams effectively, not only improves performance, but also builds confidence and engagement.

Copart’s Leadership Development Programme was developed based on feedback from our teammates’ annual appraisals, as well as from managers and our HR department, which means the programme is specifically tailored to the unique needs of our business.

After Covid, it’s been fantastic to deliver this training face-to-face which has helped to build even stronger relationships and will ensure a consistent approach when it comes to leading our teams.”
