The planning process is well underway for the Vehicle Recycling sector’s gala occasion on November 4, 2022, incorporating the Vehicle Recycling Excellence Awards presentation. Hosted in association with ATF Professional and Auto Recycling World, the reception, dinner, entertainment and Awards ceremony will combine to create a most memorable occasion of industry-wide celebration and networking.
The support of e2e Total Vehicle Management as Headline Sponsor has provided the organising team with the foundation to plan ahead and secure a great venue, menu and designs for trophies and stage set. The venue is the Britannia Suite at the National Conference Centre, on the site of the National Motorcycle Museum at Bickenhill, B92 0EJ. With plenty of car parking space and proximity to air, rail and bus links, the central location of the Centre makes it ideal for a national gala occasion and Awards presentation.
With the support of Adam Hewitt Ltd, the Reception Sponsor, there will be close-up magicians in the Reception to amuse and entertain guests at the beginning of the evening. Their engagement with guests will extend to tableside magic at the start of dinner.
Copart, ebay, Lithium Battery Recycling Solutions, SYNETIQ and Ward complete the roster of Category Sponsors, and their support has been extremely helpful in both the drive for entries and the planning of the event in November.
After the Awards, Silverlake has generously agreed to sponsor the After Glow party, including “First Drink” tickets for everyone who stays to enjoy the after-show networking and lively entertainment.
During the evening, there will be musical entertainment and accompaniment for the Awards presentation, and the ceremony will be hosted by a professional presenter. Full information on the menu, entertainment and the presentation will follow shortly for those who have already booked their tickets for this premium night to celebrate the vehicle recycling community. There will also be information on the hotels linked to the venue for those wishing to stay nearby, overnight.
Currently, early booking rates will be available until September 30 at £200.00 per person, plus VAT. Companies wishing to book a table of 10 places can enjoy a further reduction to £175 per person plus VAT (£1,750 + VAT). After September 30, the rates will rise to £250.00 per person plus VAT, or £2,250 plus VAT for a table of 10, so why not take advantage of these early booking offers.
The printed Winners book is taking shape. It will include a summary of all the entries winning awards and display advertising for the event sponsors.
Judging is currently underway, and ATF Professional is reviewing nominations for the people categories: Unsung Hero, Rising Star and Outstanding Individual.
