Copart Supports International Stress Awareness Week

To mark International Stress Awareness Week, Copart is rolling out ‘The Basics of Managing Stress’ training to all teammates.

Copart Supports International Stress Awareness Week f

In this training, its teammates will discover what stress is and how our bodies respond to it, as well as common stress triggers and how to manage them.

Throughout International Stress Awareness Week, Copart will also be sending out a range of internal communications containing useful hints and tips on how to deal with stress via Copart’s Rewards benefits and communications platform.

Recognising and managing stress is a subject that has always been a key area of focus for the company, and it forms an important part of its Copart Cares CSR commitment to its teammates.

Mental Health First Aider Programme

In May this year, Copart announced the launch of its new Mental Health First Aider Programme.

The company is proudly working in partnership with St John Ambulance, which has over 140 years’ experience in delivering first aid training. This programme will enable them to provide an extremely valuable and extensive support network across its nationwide business.

It joins Copart’s wide range of support networks, services, and tools to encourage a culture where its teammates feel comfortable and able to reach out for help when needed.

Copart Rewards

Copart Rewards benefits and communications platform (launched earlier this year) gives its teammates access to a 24/7 Employee Assistance Programme offering free, confidential counselling and advice on a wide range of work and personal issues.

It also has a Wellbeing Hub containing a range of health and wellbeing advice, videos, and resources – including a collection of mindfulness audios and tips to reduce stress, increase productivity and aid better sleep.

Ben Automotive Charity

Copart is also extremely fortunate to have access to a wide range of free health and wellbeing services through its company charity Ben, which the company promote regularly to its teammates and support through various fundraising activities throughout the year.

Copart regularly signposts teammates to Ben’s free health and wellbeing support services – including their online resources, live chat, and helpline – alongside its own company support tools and programmes.

Copart has worked closely with Ben to organise Awareness Roadshows at all its 19 UK locations this year.

It’s been a great opportunity for teammates to chat to a Ben rep face-to-face, find out what they do, and gain a better understanding about what health and wellbeing support services are available to them through this automotive charity.

Over 125 managers from across our business have also undertaken Ben’s ‘Managing Mental Health in the Workplace’ training.

Following discussions with Ben about how Copart’s business operates, its culture and what the company hoped to achieve, Ben worked alongside Copart’s Human Resources team to develop a bespoke course, which was carried out by a trained mental health therapist and counsellor.

This training has given Copart’s managers the tools and skills to spot the signs and symptoms of potential mental health issues in their teams and provide support to those who need it.

The salvage and recycling operating environment is evolving rapidly, and e2e is anticipating, listening and responding to changing market needs.  Regulatory compliance, ESG, reclaimed parts, customer experience, EVs, new vehicle technologies, data and reputation risk are just some of many considerations linked to the procurement of salvage services.  e2e will drive further added value to clients and members through the adoption and application of emerging technologies, continuing to differentiate its proposition and position salvage services as a professional partnership.
