CMA publishes the administrative timetable of phase 2 of the investigation of the acquisition by Copart, Inc. of Green Parts Specialist Holdings Ltd (Hills Motors).
At the beginning of December 2022, the CMA referred the completed acquisition by Copart, Inc. of Green Parts Specialist Holdings Ltd (Hills Motors) for an in-depth investigation, on the basis that, on the information currently available to it, it is or may be the case that this merger has resulted or may be expected to result in a substantial lessening of competition within a market or markets in the United Kingdom.
The CMA recently published the administrative timetable as required by Rule 7 of the Competition & Markets Authority Rules of Procedure for Merger, Market and Special Reference Groups (CMA17), showing upcoming dates for action to be taken in phase 2 of the Copart / Hills Motors merger investigation.
