As part of Copart’s ongoing Copart Cares commitment to good causes and communities, its teammates took part in two fundraising events this month for children’s charities.

On 10th February, Copart supported the CHUMS Charity’s ‘Shine Bright Wear Bright’ 2023 campaign, as part of Children’s Mental Health Week.

Copart teammates wore bright and colourful clothes at its locations all across the UK and donated to CHUMS, which provides emotional well-being and mental health support services to children and young people.

The CHUMS charity was established in 2007, and its services include suicide bereavement, baby loss bereavement, recreational therapy, and The Disability Friendship Scheme. In 2023, the charity will help around 4,000 children and young people across every service.

Now in its eleventh consecutive year, ILC Day is an annual event where members of the insurance claims industry come together and wear something red to raise funds for ILC’s official charity, Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity.

All Copart teammates taking part donated to the Rainbow Trust, which provides bespoke support for families who have a child with a serious illness, allowing them to make the most of their precious time together.

At Copart’s Wootton HQ and Customer Excellence Centre in Bedford, teammates were feeling the burn as well as the love by taking part in a Plank Challenge to raise extra money on the day!

“Thanks to the combined efforts of our teams all across the country, we raised hundreds of pounds for these two fantastic children’s charities, which both make a huge difference to families in our local communities.

We’re very proud of the caring culture we have at Copart, and want to give a big shout-out to our amazing teammates who always show such amazing levels of enthusiasm and commitment towards raising money for good causes!”
