National Body Repair Association (NBRA) director, Chris Weeks, has handed in his notice after five years at the collision repair organisation.

In 2018, Weeks joined the NBRA (and VBRA Commercial), with the aim of enhancing the accident repair industry and championing the concerns of bodyshops. Under his leadership, the organisation experienced substantial expansion and triumphs, such as the establishment of the NBRA Greener Bodyshop Awards, the creation of a new industry code of practice, the formulation of HGV repair standards, and the securing of advantageous agreements with insurers during and after the Covid-19 pandemic.
Weeks said: “I am incredibly proud of what we have accomplished at the NBRA over the past five years,” He continued: “We have made great strides in improving the quality of accident repair, advocating for the interests of bodyshops, and raising the profile of the industry. I am confident that the NBRA will continue to thrive in the years to come.”
Weeks will be leaving the NBRA after his notice to pursue a new opportunity in the private sector.
