A Night for Everyone – The ATF Professional Vehicle Recycling Awards 2023
On Thursday, 9th November, the vehicle recycling community will come together for the ATF Professional Vehicle Recycling Awards. The event is being held at the British Motor Museum in Gaydon, Warwickshire and will be a night of fun and entertainment for everyone who attends.
There has been an unprecedented amount of entries for the awards, but everyone is welcome to, regardless of whether they entered the awards or not, to help promote and celebrate the achievements made in vehicle recycling and share in their belonging to a unique and essential industry.
For those booking their tickets and interested in the history of British vehicles throughout the years, there is an option of a free museum tour before the event begins at 6 pm at the reception, where guests will be treated to drinks and canapes amongst the magnificent collection of vehicles. As guests enjoy their three-course dinner, magicians will entertain them to add gasps and wonder to the night. The awards themselves will be hosted by ex-policeman now comedian (with his BBC4 series and currently touring) Alfie Moore, who will have his own, sometimes absurd, stories of his time in the force to add to the merriment of the night before announcing the winners of the awards themselves and also finding out who will be receiving the honour of being the Young Vehicle Recycler, Unsung Hero and Outstanding Achievement trophies.
Alfie Moore Flat Cap Brass Band
The night does not stop after the presentations, with the outstanding Flat Cap Brass Band providing their blend of classic tunes to encourage everyone to put on their dancing shoes and add even more flavour to the party. Guests can enjoy themselves playing on the Scalextric and racing simulators. For those wanting to add some daring to the evening, there will be an opportunity to ride the Bucking Bronco, with those staying on the longest having the chance to win a magnum of champagne provided by Silverlake. Those who like a little risk can enjoy themselves at a casino where all proceeds will go to the event’s designated charity, Cure Leukemia, which will also hold a raffle with some magnificent prizes up for grabs. With a late bar until one, there will be plenty of fun to be had amongst old and new friends.
The dress code for the night is smart but casual, and trousers are recommended for those wanting to try their luck on the bucking bronco.
Tickets are now available regardless of whether you have entered the awards or not. Once booked, you will be informed of the hotel that has been organised with a discount if you wish to stay overnight, which is a short drive from the British Motor Museum. Please be aware to ensure the discounted price at the hotel, rooms must be booked by 12th October, after which time, we cannot guarantee the discount or the availability. We can provide a list of alternative accommodations in the area if there is no space at the discounted hotel and a list of local taxi services.
Everyone is invited to be part of this incredible night of entertainment, and it is encouraged that owners and executives of companies will also invite their hard-working teams to reward them for their hard work. And make them feel part of this great community of people.
Haydn Davies, Director of The ARW-Group and co-owner of ATF Professional, said:
Haydn Davies
“Firstly, we have been amazed at the number of entries to the awards. We are proud to be part of the vehicle recycling industry, and we want to put on a night deserving of everyone involved. We want to go beyond the standard dinner event and show our appreciation to the many dedicated people who make vehicle recycling so crucial in the 21st century.
It takes a lot to organise this event, which has been a year in the making, and all we ask is that everyone comes along to enjoy themselves, have some great fun, create some memories and celebrate being part of the vehicle recycling community.
Lastly, we want to say a huge thank you to our headline sponsor, e2e; Adam Hewitt Ltd, sponsor of the reception, music and magicians; ASM, sponsor of the wine; Eladene Systems; Lithium Battery Recycling Solutions; OHRA; Recycling Lives; Silverlake, sponsor of the bucking bronco; SYNETIQ; and U-Pull-It. Without their support, we would be unable to put on what will surely be an unforgettable evening.”
