SYNETIQ secures sweep of ISO recertifications

SYNETIQ, an IAA company and the UK’s leading vehicle salvage, dismantling and recycling company, has achieved recertification for certification for the ISO 27001 standard for information security management systems (ISMS), alongside the company’s recertification for ISO 9001 for Quality Management, ISO 45001 for Health and Safety and ISO 14001 for Environmental Management.

SYNETIQ secures sweep of ISO recertifications p

Demonstrating SYNETIQ’s commitment to protecting sensitive data and information, recertifying ISO 27001 strengthens the company’s position as a trusted resource for all its clients.

“As a leader in the vehicle recycling industry, protecting our client, customer and policyholder data is essential to how we operate,” said UK Managing Director for IAA and SYNETIQ CEO Tom Rumboll. “We are equally proud to achieve recertification for ISO 9001, which highlights our commitment to ensuring we supply our customers and clients with high quality products and services every time.”

As internationally recognised best practice frameworks, SYNETIQ’s ISO recertifications demonstrate commitment to the highest standards of quality management, health and safety, information security management and environmental management.

ISO 9001 details a business’ commitment to strict quality checking procedures to ensure customers get consistent, good-quality products and services.

ISO 45001 outlines best practices for health and safety in the workplace. Certified organisations are able to evidence they have put in place risk management systems to prevent work-related injury and ill health.

Obtaining the ISO 14001 has helped SYNETIQ improve their environmental performance through demonstrating their efficient use of resources and reduction of waste, and although not a requirement to hold, it aligns with the business’ sustainability values.
