SYNETIQ’s Vehicle & Green Parts Sales Director responds to the ABP Club State of the Industry Report 2023
Commenting about the recent ABP Club State of the Industry Report 2023, Colin Casselden, Vehicle & Green Parts Sales Director at SYNETIQ, said:
“It’s positive to see more bodyshops taking part in this year’s report, it’s even more positive to see 78% of them are using green parts in their repairs.
It seems the repair industry continues to see green parts as a sustainable and cost-effective solution when new parts are either no longer available or there’s a backlog.
We value feedback in all forms, whether it be positive or negative – it gives us the foundations to improve and enhance our service. We always listen to feedback that is given and work hard to continue to provide a quality service.
Following recent feedback, we’ve improved the consistency of parts grading to ensure each bodyshop receives the same level of quality goods. We’re also spending time to demonstrate our grading processes so they can get an increased understanding of what to expect quality-wise at each grade.
Our dynamic pricing structure ensures cost savings are achieved and because repairers are using green parts rather than new, there’s huge carbon savings being accomplished.
We understand the rapid pace of which bodyshops work, so we’re enhancing our delivery times to reduce costs and get vehicles back on the road quicker.”
