Steve Fletcher – Managing Director at Automotive Recyclers of Canada (ARC)

Upcoming Webinar - Auto Recycling’s Sustainable Future p twoSteve Fletcher is the Managing Director of the Automotive Recyclers of Canada (ARC). All ARC Members are audited to the Canadian Auto Recyclers Environmental Code (CAREC), developed for Environment Canada.

The CAREC standard and code have helped auto recyclers, stakeholders (e.g., insurance, repairers, OEMs), and governments professionalise the auto recycling sector. CAREC demonstrates that auto recyclers can meet and exceed regulatory requirements for auto recyclers of all sizes and locations. Their Ontario association, OARA, recently completed a study, “The Environmental Benefits of Green Recycled Parts in Ontario,” which quantifies the environmental benefits, primarily GHG savings by reusing parts. The study has attracted significant interest from insurers, repairers, media, and the overall claims economy, propelling auto recyclers into critical environmental discussions across Canada.

Mark your calendars and be part of this insightful event to explore the future of sustainable auto recycling.
