Cap hpi and SYNETIQ Forge New Salvage Data Partnership

Cap hpi announced a new partnership with vehicle recycling and salvage company SYNETIQ, which will integrate total loss vehicle information into its existing data offerings.

This collaboration will enhance the HPI Check service, providing users with a more comprehensive vehicle search, including detailed incident histories and total loss information.

The HPI Check, available for cars, motorcycles, vans, HGVs, and motorhomes, is a thorough vehicle report that equips drivers and businesses with critical information about potential purchases, helping them avoid motoring scams and fraud.

This partnership with SYNETIQ follows Cap hpi’s recent integration with Audatex, a company that supports over two million vehicle assessments annually and processes 85% of UK insurance claims.

Jon Clay, Identification Director at Cap hpi, commented:

“The data agreement with SYNETIQ, along with our integration of Audatex data, is a significant step in enhancing the HPI Check. As technology and data evolve, we can connect different parts of the industry to boost transparency. By layering information, we provide a richer picture of each vehicle. The team at Cap hpi continues to collaborate with stakeholders, including the police and industry bodies, to ensure the safety of motorists and businesses. Our commitment to ethical and reliable data collection is why we are excited to partner with SYNETIQ on this important milestone.”

Hugh Leslie, IT Director for SYNETIQ, added:

“We are committed to advancing industry standards, and our new data agreement with Cap hpi will help keep consumers and the supply chain informed about their vehicle purchases. Increasing transparency and raising standards is a collective responsibility within the industry.”
