Adam Hewitt Ltd, the leading agricultural salvage specialist, is making impressive strides with the development of its new 80-acre Callimore site at Rushock near Droitwich Worcestershire, which is set to become the company’s main headquarters. This project marks a significant step forward, not only in terms of expansion but also in their commitment to sustainability.
One of the standout features of the new site is the construction of a 300,000 square foot purpose-built undercover storage area. This facility will provide ample space for both storage and workshops, enabling Adam Hewitt Ltd to increase efficiency in its operations. In addition to this, existing barns on the site are being recladded and extended, ensuring the entire area is well-utilized and equipped to meet growing demand.
The outdoor storage area is designed with compliance and sustainability in mind, featuring a hard-standing concrete surface and a sealed drainage system. This attention to detail reflects the company’s dedication to both safety and environmental responsibility.
The new Callimore site will not only provide space for operations but also a range of innovative features. This includes an office block designed to accommodate training facilities, inspection and estimating bays, and approved EV quarantine areas to support the growing electric vehicle sector.
Development is underway at the Callimore site
In line with Adam Hewitt Ltd’s journey towards net zero, the site will incorporate renewable energy sources, including solar power and a borehole for water extraction. These initiatives highlight the company’s commitment to reducing its environmental impact while maintaining industry-leading standards.
As development continues at a rapid pace, the new Callimore site is set to complement existing locations in Harvington and Stourport, further solidifying Adam Hewitt Ltd’s position as a leader in its field.
Adam Hewitt said:
“We are all very excited about the new site. It’s a massive investment in the future, and it shows our commitment to our partners. We are looking forward to moving in and taking the business to the next level.”
The new site is due to open in Summer 2025.
