Recycled Parts Pioneers

Copart are passionate about encouraging the use of recycled parts for vehicle repairs, and their full commitment to this has been demonstrated through the acquisition of The Green Parts Specialists (GPS).

Recycled Parts Pioneers p

Together, they are proud to offer the UK’s largest inventory of quality assured green parts and deliver exceptional circular recycling services to the UK insurance and repair industry.

Copart will continue to invest in (and grow) this side of the business to remain at the forefront of enabling the repair industry and maximising the usage of green parts.

The company continues to invest in technology and infrastructure to increase the supply of green parts into the network, and many projects are underway to enhance speed and ease of service and provide the highest levels of customer care.

The GPS Portal and App already enable customers to request a part, receive a quote within 30 minutes, and order for next day delivery. But they want to keep developing and improving this to exceed customer service expectations when it comes to fulfilling their aim to provide the right part, first time, every time, on time.

Expanding the GPS transport fleet and network of storage facilities will be a major focus, enabling the business to harvest, providence, and securely store higher volumes of parts, and provide faster and more efficient delivery services to bodyshops and customers.

In the last couple of years, they have enhanced our parts distribution capabilities and brought their market-leading green parts operations closer to communities. Their GPS customer base has doubled, and they’ve seen a huge increase in insurance business.

Copart is delighted with these results and are proud of the part thay have always played, and continue to play, in enabling the circular economy and advocating a greener future.

Turning into a circular business and the importance of vehicle reuse and recycling.

The presentation will cover the work Volvo Cars is doing to achieve 2025 but mainly focus on the transformational work towards 2040 and the business and value chain changes being considered.
