Adam Hewitt Ltd hosted its highly anticipated annual Charity Bonfire on November 5th, 2024, in Harvington, Kidderminster, celebrating its 15th year. This signature event was held to raise funds for Cure Leukaemia, a charity dedicated to advancing treatment and care for those affected by blood cancers, and St Richard’s Hospice, which provides compassionate care for people with life-limiting illnesses. This year’s event brought together hundreds of attendees, uniting the local community under the dazzling theme inspired by The Greatest Showman. Attendees embraced the theme wholeheartedly, with costumes reflecting characters from the beloved film, even featuring a juggler on stilts who added a touch of circus wonder to the night.

The evening’s bonfire was set alight at 6:30 PM, casting a warm glow across the grounds and serving as a beacon for the spectacular fireworks display that followed. Choreographed to the film’s iconic soundtrack, the fireworks captivated the crowd, creating a memorable and visually stunning experience. In addition to the entertainment, guests enjoyed a delicious selection of food and beverages, with crowd favourites including wood-fired pizza and a traditional hog roast.
After the fireworks display, the event transitioned into the auction and raffle segments, held inside a well-decorated marquee. With over 50 generously donated auction lots, the auction became one of the highlights of the night, featuring a range of unique and valuable items that attracted enthusiastic bidding.

Fundraising Success
Thanks to the generosity of Adam Hewitt Ltd, local businesses, and individuals who attended, this year’s event raised over £35,000 through entry fees, donations, raffle ticket sales, and auction bids. This substantial sum will support Cure Leukaemia’s mission to provide crucial care and research for leukaemia patients and St Richard’s Hospice, marking yet another successful fundraising effort by the Adam Hewitt team.
Adam Hewitt expressed his gratitude, saying:
“This year’s bonfire event has been an overwhelming success. I am truly thankful for the support we received from the community, businesses, and friends. Every year, our goal is to make a difference for a deserving cause, and this year’s support for Cure Leukaemia and St Richard’s Hospice has been extraordinary. We’re proud to come together with such a passionate community.”
