The Award was presented to RECLAMET Owner and Managing Director Stuart Mann and several of his team, including Sian Crow, Sadie Marks and Nick Maxfield, who joined him on stage at an exclusive Award ceremony at RAF Museum Cosford in the West Midlands on 28th November 2024. RECLAMET was also praised for its contribution to its local community in Kent where it has helped several charities and large events through regular donations as well as supporting a brand-new boxing club in Ramsgate earlier this year. Stuart Mann, Owner and Managing Director at RECLAMET, said:
“This is an incredibly proud moment for RECLAMET to win this competitive category. A huge and heartfelt thank you to all our customers, partners and suppliers throughout the UK who have played a massive part in making this award possible. And, of course, I thank all of my team for their hard work and dedication to making RECLAMET succeed in such a short space of time. In four years, we have built a great team, which has gone from no raking to becoming the 9th largest vehicle recycler in the UK. RECLAMET’s Award has strengthened my resolve to keep investing in the business, its people and to help make our local community thrive.”
The ATF Professional Vehicle Recycling Awards was established by ATF Professional to celebrate the industry’s achievements. The vehicle recycling sector plays a crucial role in helping to reduce waste and minimise the carbon footprint of vehicle production and disposal. In the UK alone, the vehicle recycling sector contributes three billion kilograms of carbon emission savings per year, which is equivalent to the emissions saved from the manufacture of 240,000 brand-new cars annually. The Award comes soon after RECLAMET achieved a place on the podium as a finalist in the Kent Business Awards for its ‘Sustainability and Decarbonisation’ as part of Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce annual Awards 2024. The Sustainability Awards was won by Walker Construction UK Ltd.
