Silverlake Automotive Recycling [Silverlake], voted ABP Repairers’ Choice – Green Parts Supplier of the Year 2024, has confirmed its membership of the National Body Repair Association [NBRA]. The move comes as the business continues to collaborate with the body repair industry and meet the growing bodyshop demand for its green, reclaimed parts.

Tom Harvey, Head of Organisation Development at Silverlake, said:
“The NBRA is the only trade association for car body repairers in the UK, and we see immense value in joining this community as a Gold Supplier Member so that we can access and listen to the combined needs of the body repair market and respond. Our partnership approach to working with bodyshops, including tours of our automotive recycling site with explanations of our processes, led by the dedicated team running Silverlake’s Premium Bodyshop Service, has seen our customer base grow exponentially in the last 12 months.
“Martyn Rowley, Executive Director of the NBRA and Tom Hudd, NBRA & VBRA Commercial National Technical Manager, enjoyed a Silverlake site tour recently, and we were delighted with the positive feedback they provided on Silverlake’s professional service, focused on quality and customer experience. We are proud to have built a strong reputation with the nationwide body repair industry. Joining the NBRA gives us the opportunity for ongoing, two-way communication, promoting joint understanding. We look forward to collaborating with the NBRA and are committed to continuing to shape our services in line with market needs as we reinforce Silverlake’s service and quality differentiator.”

Martyn Rowley, Executive Director at the NBRA, said:
“We are delighted to welcome Silverlake Automotive Recycling as the latest Green Parts supplier member of the NBRA. Their commitment to sustainability and innovation in vehicle recycling aligns perfectly with our mission to support greener practices in the automotive repair industry. By embracing high-quality green parts, we not only help repairers reduce their environmental impact but also provide a cost-effective solution for vehicle repairs. We look forward to collaborating with Silverlake to further drive sustainability across the sector.”
