This new location in Newbury will further enhance GPS’s parts distribution capabilities in the south of England, which the company says is great news for their customers operating in this area of the country.

It joins an existing network of delivery hubs, in Skelmersdale, Gloucester and Dumfries, enabling the company to bring their market-leading green parts operations even closer to their customers and communities.

Lewis Woolnough, Sales Director at GPS, said:

“By regularly distributing parts to our Newbury hub, we can eliminate multiple long-distance journeys from our Skelmersdale HQ and operate more efficiently and sustainably.

Not only will the addition of this hub provide a faster and more efficient delivery service to customers in the south of England, but it will also reduce our road miles and help us to lower our carbon footprint.”

Having been acquired in 2023 by global leader in online vehicle remarketing and recycling, Copart, further investment is planned to grow the GPS business moving forward.

This will include improvements to infrastructure and equipment, and the expansion of GPS’s services and operational network.

The power of the network model means e2e has the ability to influence industry standards and is committed to continually raising the bar whilst redefining the role and perceived value of the salvage operator.  Network members adhere to robust service level agreements, against which they are audited, in order to ensure performance consistency and a market leading customer experience.

The salvage and recycling operating environment is evolving rapidly, and e2e is anticipating, listening and responding to changing market needs.  Regulatory compliance, ESG, reclaimed parts, customer experience, EVs, new vehicle technologies, data and reputation risk are just some of many considerations linked to the procurement of salvage services.  e2e will drive further added value to clients and members through the adoption and application of emerging technologies, continuing to differentiate its proposition and position salvage services as a professional partnership.
