This prestigious accreditation demonstrates ASM’s ongoing commitment to maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, and wellbeing for its employees, contractors, and visitors.

The ISO 45001 certification complements ASM’s existing accreditations, ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), and ISO 27001 (Information Security Management), forming an integrated management system that ensures responsible, efficient, and sustainable operations across all areas of the business.

Achieving ISO 45001 reflects ASM’s proactive approach to identifying and managing workplace risks, promoting a positive safety culture, and fostering continual improvement. The certification process involved a detailed independent audit of ASM’s health and safety practices, confirming their effectiveness in reducing risks and ensuring compliance with legislation and industry best practice.

Managing Director Paul McDonagh, commented:

“Health and safety has always been a fundamental principle at ASM. Achieving ISO 45001 certification is a testament to the hard work of our teams and the strong safety culture we have developed. It reinforces our commitment to ensuring everyone at ASM can work confidently in a safe and supportive environment.”

As one of the UK’s leading vehicle recycling and dismantling companies, ASM handles thousands of end-of-life vehicles every year. The certification underscores the company’s dedication to safeguarding its people while delivering high-quality, environmentally responsible services.
