“It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of our Director and family member, Jonathan Trent.
Jonathan sadly lost his battle to a very aggressive form of cancer on the 3rd October 2025 surrounded by his family.
Jonathan was much more than a director at Trents, he was a driving force behind Charles Trent and a cornerstone of our family business. His passion, dedication, and leadership played a vital role in shaping the company we are today alongside Marc and Neil.
Throughout his career, Jonathan embodied the values that define our family business: integrity, hard work, and a genuine care for people and his work. Jonathan lived and breathed Trents and his commitment to both the company and its people was unwavering.
His legacy is deeply rooted in the growth and success of Charles Trent, but more importantly, in the countless lives he touched along the way. Jonathan was a one of a kind, and will be deeply missed by all his family, friends and colleagues. Everyone who had the pleasure of working or dealing with Jonathan will understand the great loss our family and business has faced.
Jonathan will be sadly missed, but his impact will continue to inspire us for generations to come.”
