ASM Auto Recycling moves up to second place in ABP Green Parts Supplier rankings

ASM Auto Recycling has strengthened its position in the UK green parts sector after being named 2nd in the ‘Green Parts Supplier’ category at the ABP Night of Knights Awards 2025, a significant rise from 5th place in 2024.

The three-place climb in just twelve months reflects ASM’s focus on making green parts a straightforward, everyday option for repairers and work providers. While The Green Parts Specialists took the top spot this year, ASM’s result underlines the progress the business has made in terms of consistency, service and support.

Over the past year, ASM has concentrated on the operational details that determine whether reclaimed parts are actually used on live jobs, from stock accuracy and grading standards through to communication and delivery performance. The aim has been to give bodyshops and their partners the confidence that when they choose green parts, the process will be predictable and reliable.

Commenting on the result, director Paul McDonagh said:

“To move from fifth to second in the Green Parts Supplier category in just a year is a fantastic achievement for the whole team. It shows that the work we’ve put into further enhancing our green parts operation is being noticed where it matters, in busy bodyshops trying to keep vehicles moving.

We’re delighted with the recognition, but we’re not treating this as a finish line. If anything, it raises our own expectations. We’ll keep pushing to make green parts even easier to specify, order and fit for our repairer and insurer partners.”

Internally, the improved ABP ranking is being seen as a clear marker of momentum and a platform for further improvement ahead of the next awards cycle. ASM will continue to work closely with insurers, bodyshop groups and other key partners to remove friction from the reclaimed parts process and support wider sustainability and cost-control goals.
