The new partnership between The Green Parts Specialists and epyx makes it easier for fleets and repairers to use quality-assured recycled parts. Through epyx’s 1link Service Network, users can source over 350,000 VRA-graded components with next-day delivery or fitted within a week, cutting SMR costs and vehicle downtime.
The Green Parts Specialists has partnered with epyx to make graded recycled parts more accessible to repairers and fleets using the epyx 1link Service Network platform. Parts managers can now choose from a catalogue of more than 350,000 recycled components for either next-day delivery or a supply-and-fit service.
All parts supplied through the partnership are graded and certified to Vehicle Recyclers Association (VRA) standards, giving repairers confidence on quality and provenance. The supply-and-fit option is typically available within a week, helping to cut repair costs and reduce vehicle downtime for insurers, fleets and their customers.
Growing demand
Lewis Woolnough, sales director at The Green Parts Specialists, said:
“There is growing fleet demand for recycled parts, both from a cost point of view and because they are more environmentally friendly. This new partnership will help to satisfy that need.
Fleets can easily search through our catalogue of recycled parts, the largest available in the UK, with every item checked, graded and provenanced to the highest available standards. Delivery is available next day on a nationwide basis from our hubs across the country, together with a 12-month warranty.
This deal has the potential to bring about a new era for recycled parts in the fleet sector, making fitted, high-quality parts more accessible than ever before.”
Greg Tucker, director of OEM and network management, at epyx, added:
“Our new partnership with The Green Parts Specialists provides a highly effective route to incorporate recycled parts into standard SMR processes, and we’re expecting interest from fleet users of 1link Service Network to be considerable.”
