Europe’s largest event for end of life vehicle recyclers, The Complete Auto Recycling Show (CARS), will return to Stoneleigh on 3rd & 4th June 2020.

Again, co-located with the Metals Recycling Event (MRE), the show promises to welcome even more visitors and exhibitors after record numbers gathered at the event held earlier this year.

More than 1400 visitors attended across 11th & 12th July 2018 to discover new products, learn new skills and hear from experts in the field on the latest market opportunities and challenges.

Highlights included; a presentation from Artemis Hatzi-Hull, who has responsibility for ELVs at the European Commission discussing the review of the ELV Directive, and the live demonstration area, which saw vehicles being processed in a live environment. Cars were baled and shredded, engines were cracked and metal sheared.

Attendees commented on the diversity of businesses in attendance and the number things to do across the two days, while exhibitors spoke of the quality of visitors and the variety of networking opportunities on offer.

Reflecting on the 2018 event, show organiser, Ali McQueen said, “CARS 2018 was an overwhelming success. With more visitors and exhibiting companies in attendance than ever before, CARS really is the industry meeting place for vehicle dismantlers and recyclers. Looking ahead, we have identified some new opportunities and we’re excited about the potential for the next event in 2020”.

The organisers will begin accepting stand reservations in 2019 so get in touch early to book your preferred location. For more information, visit
