The 26th Annual ETRA (European Tyre Recycling Association) Conference on Tyre Recycling ‘Responding to Market demands of the Circular Economy’ will take place on 20th to 22nd March 2019.
The three day event will be held at the NH Collection Hotel, Grand Sablon, Brussels. The Conference is the culmination of a year-long series of ETRA-led activities and events that celebrated ETRA’s 25th Anniversary as a European Association.
Dr.Fulvia RAFFAELLI will present the Keynote address opening the 26th ETRA Conference. Dr.Raffaelli is Head of Unit, Directorate General for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs (DG Grow). Coordinator of the Circular Economy File on which the Conference Programme is built, Dr.Raffaelli will discuss the current Commission focus, the role of DG Grow and how it sets the stage for implementation of the Circular Economy policy.
The Plenary sessions that follow will focus on the many potentials for tyre recyclers and the ever-broadening range of material users to respond to the challenges of the Circular Economy. Each panel includes a period of questions and discussion during which delegates may expand upon the subject. Further, there are also many informal opportunities for delegates and speakers to meet and discuss common interests.
