With shoots of optimism for the summer and the Government’s vaccination plan seemingly on track, the gears are in motion for the rescheduled Complete Auto Recycling Show (CARS) to take place on 29 & 30 September 2021 at Stoneleigh Park, Coventry.
CARS offers visitors a unique opportunity to learn, network and socialise in a positive environment that is conducive to building lasting business relationships. After such a long time apart, and having been more than three years since the last meeting on this scale, the event appears to be well-timed.
The organisers are reporting that more than 90% of stand space has now been booked and with just over four months to go until the event, they have offered a sneak preview of what to expect at the event in September.
The conference programme is being finalised but key themes are expected to be the market for second hands parts and certification scheme, electric vehicles and batteries, the ELV directive and the future of regulation in the sector. Workshops are also expected on practical topics such as packaging and depollution.
Away from the conference theatre, CARS & MRE allows visitors to see the latest machinery and equipment on the market. In addition to indoor and outdoor exhibition areas, CARS plays hosts to a dedicated live demonstration area where material handlers, balers and shredders are put through their paces, processing end of life vehicles and metal in a live environment.
On the evening of the first day, visitors will have a chance to socialise and catch up with customers, suppliers and industry peers. The details are still being finalised but an announcement will be made shortly.
