Steven Dronsfield

Although Brexit created uncertainty and concern, with shipping containers on the water and customers not knowing if duties would be payable on their goods when arriving at port, it seems this did not deter the founder of the company, Steven Dronsfield. To his relief and sense of a job well done, on 9th May 2021, confirmation was received that a first trailer filled with vehicle parts had successfully cleared customs and was en route to the customer.

Steven’s business partner and sales director, Rick Suthers, played his part in the negotiations with Border Force and HMRC. He said:

“It has been an enormous learning curve but one which we have all enjoyed being part of.”

“However, I can’t deny, I’m glad it’s over. To ensure there are no other surprises or delays with future movements of goods, I am also undertaking formal accredited customs qualification.”

“I’m confident now we are in a much better place to handle our exports post-Brexit. And I can relax a bit now and enjoy the fact it’s all gone well.”
