Plenty to talk about at the upcoming BVSF AGM

With the BVSF AGM/Seminar fast approaching, plans are almost complete for the event. However, there is still ample space for more delegates at the Walton Hall Hotel in Warwickshire on 19th April and with the now expected extensive presentation and display list it is not an event to miss.

Over and above the presentations/displayers we also have an Environment Agency Q & A Table for face to face private discussions with a senior official.

Although the timetable is still being prepared the event is expected to start at 10.30am with registration and the display areas opening at 9.30am. Displayers are strongly advised to set up early, from around 7.30am. On the subject of displayers, this year we hopefully have at least 2 outside displays from Belle Trailers and DA Autoparts.

We will break for a buffet lunch with the displayers between 12am and 1pm approximately.

The daytime activities should finish around 4-4.30pm giving delegates and guests a chance to sample the delights of the pool, gym or spa (or indeed all 3!).

The evening meal and entertainment will begin around 7pm following which we have a giant raffle and award presentation and the entire day should finish around 10.30pm although a bar will be open until the small hours for those still awake!

Currently presenting to us are Business Doctors (the company that so ably stepped in at the last moment last year), Retainagroup on vehicle parts security marking, Dennis Rafferty on CoTC training, SOTpay relating to credit card payment fraud, AC Environmental Consulting relating to FPP’s and last but by no means least the representatives from the DVLA.

My thanks go to all those delegates, displayers and presenters that have booked thus far. Displaying indoors this year to date are DH Systems, AC Environmental Consulting, RETAINAGROUP, Green Car Depollution, Abanaki, Hollander International, City Fuel Services, Berns Brett Ltd, Wickens Engineering, CCRS Brokers and Techemet.

Mingling guests currently include Tania Tucker from the EA, Paul Hallett from DEFRA and Robin Edwards from Onis Consulting in regard to metal theft and the Scrap Metal Dealer Act, representatives from CARS 2018 and indeed representatives from ATF Professional.

All members of the Federation and their guests are invited. Should you be unfortunate enough not to be a member then contact the Secretary General on 01303 814325 to make the required joining arrangements.

Entry is by pre-booking only (Booking forms available from BVSF) and this has to be strictly enforced to ensure catering and seating is available to all.
