Vehicle Recycling Excellence Awards 2022

As we come to the end of 2021, there is one date to remember for 2022 – Friday, November 4th, when the Vehicle Recycling Excellence Awards will be presented for the first time at the Awards dinner and ceremony in the UK.

The new Vehicle Recycling Excellence Awards aim to highlight, promote and reward the essential work the vehicle salvage and recycling industry in the UK provides. The Awards aim to seek out great examples of good practice, innovation and action, excellence in management and services in all areas, including training and marketing. Trophies will be presented for business outcomes and endeavour performances regardless of an organisation’s size.

An awards competition, however, is only as good as the entries received and the organisers of the Vehicle Recycling Excellence Awards want to encourage the broadest possible range of entries from across the industry in the UK.

ATF Professional has teamed up with Stratford Projects Limited, a leading events company with years of experience in making such events succeed. They will bring impartiality to the judging process so that all entries will be judged independently by expert judges and purely on their individual or company merit.

The closing date for entries will be May 31st, each year and judging will take place in two stages between June and early September.

A date has already been set for an Awards dinner and ceremony on Friday, November 4th, 2022, at the National Conference Centre, on the site of the National Motorcycle Museum at Bickenhill, B92 0EJ – near the NEC and just off Junction 6 on the M42. All those attending can visit the Museum before the Reception starts. Hosted by a celebrity presenter, the new Vehicle Recycling Excellence Awards dinner and ceremony will be a memorable and joyful occasion for all attending.

Rewarding innovation, excellence and performance, the Vehicle Recycling Excellence Awards span all vehicle recycling activities across the UK.

“The team at ATF Professional have always been dedicated to promoting those involved in the vehicle salvage and recycling industry, and being involved in arranging these awards, can only help in continuing to achieve this.

Over the years, we have spoken to so many dedicated people who need to be recognised for their hard work and innovation. These Awards will be the perfect opportunity to recognise and celebrate their achievements.

Teaming up with Stratford Projects will bring kudos to the Awards and ensure that those entering the various categories will be judged fairly and equally. Also, they will help make the Awards event a night to remember and the occasion the industry deserves. The Awards are open to all, regardless of company size, and I encourage everyone to get involved, as it will help promote the industry.”

Please take time to visit the website and learn more about the Awards and join the mailing list to be kept informed on their progress and to find out the latest news.

The category list is not overburdened with wordy criteria. The belief is that by not being too prescriptive, you can tell your story in your own way for the judges. Qualifying clauses or criteria may be added while the call for entries is open to improving clarity for entrants. You are asked to use the basic template of headings in your submission document. The template can be found on the useful advice page and will assist the judges when comparing entries and help the marking system by allowing allocations of marks to each submission sector to be used consistently.

The Awards’ team looks forward to receiving your entries and wishes you well with your submissions. Your guides on how to enter and the entry fees can be found on the website.

There are also opportunities to sponsor the new Vehicle Recycling Excellence Awards. If you are interested in becoming a sponsor, please contact Helen Warrilow, Commercial Director, for information at
