Copart’s partnership with Polygon, a specialist drying and decontamination business, enables them to provide specialist treatment to many water and smoke-damaged vehicles so that they can either return to their owners or can achieve even greater returns through the company’s patented online auctions.

Copart is delighted to be able to offer this bespoke service to their customers, in addition to their well-established emergency response and surge management capabilities, which enable them to rapidly handle large volumes of vehicles following flooding or other extreme weather incidents.

Polygon’s patented vehicle restoration process offers innovative solutions for recovering the best possible value from a vehicle that has suffered damage due to water (or smoke).

Water damaged vehicles are fully disassembled in a controlled environment, including removing carpets, upholstery, and trim to allow for further assessment and decontamination.
